Day 50 - The Heat is On

Every year since 1986, the Prairie Village Municipal Fund has helped its residents who have difficulty paying their utility billls.  With funds raised through the Mayor's Holiday Tree Fund, the heat is on for those qualifying for assistance.  The program is run by Johnson County and culminates with the annual lighting of a holiday tree at Corinth Square Shopping Center - and with lots of discounts and special offers at the stores and restaurants.  Glad I could help keep the heat on in my town, Prairie Village, lovingly called 'Perfect Village' by my kids.
