Day 106 - Deeds and Deals

Out of the closets, into the car, and on to Savers and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City.  A partnership like this is one of many throughout the country.  Savers is a for-profit company that partners with non-profit agencies, usually local ones.  Since 1954, they have donated $1 billion to non-profit alliances.   Most of what doesn't sell in the Savers stores is sent overseas to developing countries.    Whether my donated goods end up in a local home or on the other side of the world, I admire the fact that Savers seems to live up to its own description, Good Deeds, Great Deals.
