Day 165 - Child Abuse Prevention

For Child Abuse Prevention Month, April 2011, I gave a donation to The Children's Place in Kansas City.  For a few hours a day, children who've had a tough time can play and learn in a nurturing environment.  The Children's Place may look like any regular nursery school - and it is - but it also has skilled professionals on staff to deal with children whose homelife is not the best.
