There are a variety of reasons to shop at HyVee in Prairie Village, KS. Besides low prices and good selection, HyVee gives back to the community. The day I was there, besides the price decline on Belfonte Nonfat Red Raspberry Yogurt, a portion of my purchase was given to the Variety Club of Kansas City. It's a charity for children with special needs who might be mentally and physically challenged. Whether helping fund wheelchairs or vans with lifts, adaptive bicycles or prosthetic limbs, Variety Club, an international organization with 52 chapters, has volunteers whose hearts are with the kids.
