Day 27 - Girl Scout Cookies

It's my favorite time of year - Girl Scout Cookie time!  Just driving down the street and, lo and behold, there was a stand piled high with cookies. Four girl scouts were wildly waving and flagging down drivers.  Screeching to a halt, I bought 3 boxes from them.  One of the selections was a kind I'd never seen (nor eaten) before but I understand that it's been on the market for a couple of years.  It's called "Thanks-A-Lot" and the cookies say "Thank You" in either English, French, Chinese, Swahili or Spanish.  Zach, I'll save the Chinese ones for you and Auntie Shana.  Good job, girls, for raising money for the Girl Scout programs and Thanks-A-Lot for the cookies!

  1. There better be a cookie or two left in those boxes for our visit in a few weeks! If not and you just *happen* to drive by the cookie stand again, I'm a Samoas fan...

  2. Please come to our 2nd booth at Borders Bookstore (91st & Metcalf) from 4PM-8PM. If you are out of cookies or would like a gift wrapped book to give this Christmas.
